Program

• 1. Day – Individual transport and meeting at the train stop Popradské pleaso no later than 16:00 Equipment check and easy ascent for about 1 hour to the Popradské pleso hut. Overnight at the chalet.
• c2. Day – early start, ascent through the Zlomisková valley to the Východná Železná brána pass and descent down through Gerlachovské spády to the Kačacia valley. Further via the Zmrznutý kotol to the Prielom pass and skiing to the Veľká Studená valley to the Zbojnicka chalet. Overnight at the chalet.
• 3. Day – early start, ascent to Priečne pass and skiing to the Malá Studená valley to Téry’s chalet. Short refreshment at the hut and ascent to the Baranie pass. Skiing from the Baranie pass to the Veľká Zmrzlá valley and further to the Pri zelenom plese chalet (Brnčalova chata). Refreshment at the chalet and skiing down to the Biela voda to the bus stop. Transfer back to the car and transport home.

Difficulty:

• good experience with ski mountaineering and avalanche problems
• ability to ski in open terrain and in steep terrain with a slope of about 40°
• ability to climb and ski approx. 1200 vertical metres per day
• very good physical condition

What is included in the price:

• guiding with a UIAGM mountain guide (the mountain guide has third party insurance and a valid UIAGM membership)
• photos from the tour (with mobile phone)
• good mood and individual approach of the guide:)
