Ascent to Satan peak 2422m

Satan is the most dominant peak in the Bašty ridge. This ridge separates the Mengusovská and Mlynická valleys. The ascent is one of the easiest ascents in the High Tatras. Tour leads from Štrbské pleso up the Mlynická valley to the waterfall Skok. Further from the waterfall up the valley, later by a ramp and a chute to the ridge. At the end of the ascent there are steep sections to the very top of Satan peak. The view from the top is amazing and you can see both adjacent valleys in their full glory.
