Will I be able to climb Gerlach or another peak?
If you can climb the freely accessible high Tatra peaks such as Kriváň peak, Kôprovský peak, Rysy peak, Slavkovský peak, Jahňací peak at the times indicated on the signposts and maps, you should have no problem with the ascent to Gerlach. It is good to have hiked at least half of the freely accessible peaks in the High Tatras before ascending Gerlach.
What if the weather is too bad to do the climb?
We will reschedule the climb at no cost.
How many clients can a mountain guide take on a climb.
As a rule, the maximum number is 2 persons. Some ascent routes like Gerlach normal route, Lomnický peak normal route, Bradavica, Vysoká, Satan have an exception and in summer conditions (without crampons and ice axe) can take 3 people.
Where do I meet the mountain guide before the climb?
The mountain guide will call you 2-3 days before the climb and arrange a meeting place and time with you before the climb. If the guide does not call you, feel free to call him. The guide may currently be in the mountains in a location with no coverage or simply busy guiding clients.
The meeting places are as follows:

What is included in the price of the climb?
The price of the climb includes guiding to the selected peak and the rental of helmet, harness, ice axe and crampons for each participant. The price does not include any transport costs, lift passes, meals and accommodation.
Shuttle to Sliezsky dom hotel and Popradské pleso chalet.
When ascending Gerlach peak and surrounding peaks, shuttle to Sliezsky dom hotel is necessary. The current price of export is 10eur per person one way.
In the case of Vysoká peak and the surrounding peaks it is an shuttle to Popradské pleso chalet at a price of 15eur per person and one direction.
In both cases, payment is made directly to the operator and changes in shuttle prices are possible. You will always be told the time of the shuttle by the mountain guide before the climb.
My voucher has expired.
You will pay the difference between the price paid for the voucher and the actual price for the climb. This will extend your validity by 1 year.
What do I need to take with me for a climb?
Do I have to have insurance for the climb?
Yes. It is necessary that each participant of the climb has a mountain insurance for the day(s) of the climb.
What is the cancellation policy in case of cancellation of an climb?
All cases of cancellation are specified in the terms and conditions.
